Visiting France in 2005 I got ‘hooked’ on espresso. However, whenever I asked for “espresso”, the server asked “cafe petit?” and, whenever I asked for “cafe petit” the server asked “espresso?”. I guess they just don’t understand ‘Italian’ or ‘French’ in France!
